Track and Field sends 9 athletes to State!!!

We will be holding a send off for our State Track & Field participants this Thursday at 9:10 AM. The team will depart from the High School parking lot at approximately 9:15 AM.

We invite everyone to join us in wishing these student athletes good luck as they head to the OHSAA State Track & Field Championships at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. If you plan to attend, please arrive at the high school by 9:00 AM.

Please bring your signs, posters, and noise makers as we send our athletes off in true Madeira fashion!

The following student athletes have qualified for the State Track & Field Championships, which will take place Thursday through Saturday:

Natasha Davis – 4×800 Relay (Thursday 12:30 PM), 4×400 Relay (Thursday 3:25 PM)
Macy Mueller – 4×800 Relay (Thursday 12:30 PM), 4×400 Relay (Thursday 3:25 PM)
Olivia Naegeli – 4×800 Relay (Thursday 12:30 PM), 4×400 Relay (Thursday 3:25 PM)
Lucy Folger – 4×800 Relay (Thursday 12:30 PM), 4×400 Relay (Thursday 3:25 PM), 1600m Run (Friday 2:35 PM)
Hannah Gemmel – 3200m Run (Thursday 2:55 PM)
Anica Rane – Shot Put (Friday 9:30 AM), Discus (Thursday 4:00 PM)
Makayla Davenport – Shot Put (Friday 9:30 AM)
Silas Baird – 3200m Run (Friday 12:10 PM)
Ben Wetzel – 1600m Run (Saturday 6:28 PM)
